M3_Last transnational meeting in Romania


Monday - 13th May was the first day we arrived to 'Athena' the greek school of Bucharest.


On this first day a welcome ceremony was held and after that we all gathered in the meeting room of the school. Together with the headmaster, teachers and coordinators we worked on the Schedule of the meeting and upcoming activities.






Later in the morning two students played baglama, a national instrument and sung rebetico. Teachers had the chance to discover this instrument and practise with it, with the help of Marianna Katopi, the Music teacher.









Before the afternoon we visited Herăstrău Park and  the Village Museum, located in Herăstrău Park, where they got acquaintance with the traditional way of life in Romania.


Later in the afternoon, walk in the Old City Centre and Sight-Seeing according with the project “Multicultural Bucharest”. The delegations were guided by Lazar Elena (Professor of the Greek History in University of Bucharest) and accompanied by Basina Vasiliki, Katopi Marianna.




On Tuesday and, accompanied by Kalogiannidou Despoina, we made an excursion to Peleș Palace, the palace of the royal family of Romania,  Bran Castle and Brașov. 




On Wednesday 15th we had the Final Program Meeting, where the important issues were discussed. Time for final agreements and certificates.







On this last working day we had time to visit Primăverii Palace, the Residence of N. Ceausescu 



At night, to close this visit to Bucharest teachers were taken to Greek Restaurant “Makedonia” by the lake Cernica, for the farewell dinner. A group of national dancers performed folk dances. The project coordinator declared the end of the project, thanked all partners for their hard work and wished them all the best.



C3_Short exchange of students in Lithuania

LITHUANIA 24th- 30th MARCH 2019

HERE WE GO!


Sunday was the day students met the families that Will host them.





 ON MONDAY lots of welcoming activities were organized both for teachers and students. Students arrived first to school and joined 'Let's get acquainted' and activity designed to introduce themselves .


We continued with a beautiful welcome ceremony. Lots of members from the school community and teachers were there to welcomed us with a beautiful show.


During the first day students were very busy decorating caps and masks for the play. Teachers had a meeting during the afternoon.



On TUESDAY students atended lessons and, after that, we had a trip to Kaunas, the temporary capital city of Lithuania. We visited the castle and enjoyed a play 'Holidays at uncle Titas' at Kaunas National Puppet Theatre. At the Theatre we participated in the educational programme. After lunch we visited the Devil's museum (the devil is one of the most popular mythological creatures in Lithuania, especially in folklore, customs and beliefs)




On Wednesday Erasmus students participated in the workshop 'Ceramics'. Later we visited the local Municipality and were welcomed by the Mayor Alvydas Vaicekauskas and the Director of Education Department of the region Rimvydas Zailskas.



Before lunch we had the chance to visit the whole school together with the headteacher. Learning about the organization of the school, how teachers work, educational law, etc is really worth it and interesting. While the teachers were visiting the school the students were busy rehearsing the play.

During the afternoon guest students participated in the educational programme 'The way of bread to our homes', held in the regional museum. Teachers visited the Regional Museum in Birstonas.


THURSDAY was time for sport dances and a final rehearsal before showing the play. The student's performance of the story was amazing, great job!



During the afternoon students joined a class on robotics and to close the day a solemn closing ceremony for the Short Exchange was held at the local culture and leisure centre. The school administration, host families, students, teachers, staff and the Director of Education Department participated in this farewell activities. Certificates were given.




FRIDAY. Our last working day in Lithuania. This day we visited Trakai, joined and educational programme in Trakai Chocolate Factory 'A.J. Sokoladas', tasted national dishes and joined a guided trip around the old town of Vilnius.

A8_theatrical play of our story

Theatrical Play.

After writing the story of our partnership we wrote a theatrical play of that story. The aim of this script was to use it for performing the play in Lithuania. Great job!
